Morecambe Dental Centre is part of the community dental service, providing care to adults and children with additional support needs. Stuart is involved in the provision of dental care to phobic and anxious adults and adults with additional support needs. Out of hours dental care is available at centres throughout the UK. Stuart has been involved in the provision of emergency dental care to many thousands of patients over the course of many years. He has worked hard to support patients towards definitive treatment where possible with a close following of relevant guidelines. He has also regularly helped colleagues with complex extractions, avoiding the need for onward referral and allowing the dental issue to be resolved same visit. Stuart has consistently achieved one of the lowest rates of antibiotics prescribing and highest rates of successfully completed treatment among dentists at all emergency clinics.
